Meghan Trainor’s ‘Title’ review

Meghan was probably one of my favorite new artist in 2014. But to be honest, I was sure she will be a one-hit wonder. We all were ‘all about that bass’, but I didnt believe in Meghan’s future. But thankfully, I was wrong about that.

I’m not a fan of this type of music, but for some reason ‘Title’ won my heart. 21-year-old singer did a great job. Meghan takes sweet old -fashioned music and refeshes it with absolutely modern, bold and nasty lyrics. Nice combihation, huh? Olly Murs is doing the same thing, so I had this ‘I’ve heard it already’ thought while listening to Trainor. And I was a little bit surprised (not sure it was a good one), because ‘Dear Future Husband’ from the ‘Title’ sounds so much like Olly’s ‘Dance with me tonight’! But ok, we won’t talk about negative sides, let’s talk about some cool songs ☺

I have a few favorite records so I’m going to tell about them a little bit. Here we go!

1. All About That Bass

Yes, yes, yes, You probably just hate it (but sing aloud every time it’s playing around). But let’s be honest. This is such a cool, funny and powerfull song! Really self-empowerment. Very important words are given through sweet and girly music. Catchy song with wonderful lyrics. What else do you need?

2. 3am

I don’t know why I like it so much. This song is about difficult relationships betweent two people, but you don’t feel that pressure because of light beat. Actually, music here is super easy. And maybe that’s why this song doesnt’t string you up at all? All great is simple.

3. Like I’m Gonna Lose You (feat. John Legend)

John holy grammy Legend. I was sooooo surprised to see his name there. Because aaaaaall of meeee loves aaaaaall of him. I might say, the result of their united work is pretty nice. Sweet love song, amazing voices, pleasurable music. Not new, but still romantic words. Not original, but who cares?

4. Bang Dem Sticks

Love hip-hop? This song is for you. A little surprise from Meghan. Cool, nasty song, perfect for dancing and… No matter what☺Anyway, Bang Dem Sticks seems like a black sheep of the album, but I love it.

5. Dear Future Husband

Girls will love it! No, seriously. If you love some nice but funny and nasty girl, but you don’t know how to act around her — just listen to this song. Thanks, Meghan :D Amusing record!
