How to Buy LOCKER Tokens?

- Create a Blockchain Wallet
For you to store, receive and send crypto coins or tokens, you will need a place to put them. These are Blockchain Wallets. Each Blockchain is its own network, requiring a unique address to identify users. This address is automatically created for you with 12 randomly generated words called your “Seed Phrase”, giving you ownership over the associated address.
These 12 words are the like your password and are to be guarded with upmost care. There is no Customer Service to Call if you loose them and should another person acquire them, they can access all your funds from anywhere at any time. With the freedom of decentralization comes responsibility.

When opening the App for the first time, the App will automatically send the request to the Ethereum Blockchain to create a new address for you. The 12 randomly generated Seed Phrase Words can be found in the Settings Tab. Store them in an extremely safe place, preferably offline.
You can view the Seed Phrase that was generated for you or you can import an existing Seed Phrase. This will allow you to view and access tokens on the ETHEREUM, MATIC, BTC & TRON Network. (Other Networks to be added on an ongoing basis) Click on “Seed Phrase”, then “Reveal Words” and save them.
By clicking “Create a new seed” it will generate a new address and should you have not written down your original 12 words, any funds that may be associated with this address can not be accessed any longer and are permanently lost. Always ensure your Seed Phrase is safe.

2. Buy Ethereum
In order to transact and operate on the Ethereum Network, you need the ETH coin to pay for what is called “Gas”, measured in GWEI (a sub-unit of ETH). This is basically the fee that is paid to the validators on the Ethereum Blockchain for processing transactions. Keep in mind that this is a variable price that goes up and down based on network traffic. Always double check estimated network fees before making any transaction on the network.
On the Main Screen of the App you will see BTC, ETH, LOCKER and a variety of tokens come pre-loaded. In order to operate on the Ethereum Network, you simply click the tab with the ETH price.
In this Menu you can:
- Buy ETH
- Exchange your ETH to LOCKER or USDT
- Connect to other DApps on Ethereum via Wallet Connect
- Send & Receive ETH
After selecting “BUY” it will give you a choice of available fiat on-ramp providers available in your region. You can now buy Ethereum, BTC, MATIC and other cryptos via credit and/or debit card. Your coins will automatically appear in your wallet after processing the transaction.
There may be Security KYC and AML checks in place when making your first purchase. The total process will only take a few minutes.
Once everything is processed and you are the proud owner of some ETH, you can return back to the Ethereum Main Menu and select “Exchange”. Here you can swap ETH for LOCKER, USDT or DAI. These transactions take place on a decentralized exchange called Uniswap.
Enter your desired amounts you want to swap and confirm the transaction. It will give you the above mentioned network “gas fee” estimation. It should cost around 2$ to process this kind of transaction with average network traffic.
It is worth noting here that other Networks like MATIC, which is called a Layer 2 Network running on top of ETH, can facilitate transactions for a fraction of the price, only costing a few cents.
After confirming the transaction, the network will process your swap and your LOCKER Tokens will be in your wallet. You can at this point pat yourself on the back for being amongst the early adopters of cryptocurrency.
