Steven Universe “Rocknaldo” Review
Many Ronaldo episodes are tough to sit through, but they do have lots of foreshadowing. However will “Rocknaldo” provide lots of foreshadowing, or will it just fall into the shadows?
Story
Ronaldo is telling people to watch out for “Rock People,” that are essentially the Crystal Gems. Steven invites Ronaldo to stay with them for a bit so he can see that they aren’t bad. He ends up pushing Steven away, which ends in Ronaldo leaving and trying to be nicer about the Crystal Gems.
Animation
The animation is the standard for the series. There aren’t any grand scenes and huge characters that would make an interesting scene.
Final Thoughts
This episode was bad, just underwhelming. With the stream of amazing episodes ever since Steven Bomb 5, they would eventually fail to be as good, which is understandable. However what felt like a kick in the teeth was the official Cartoon Network Twitter and Instagram had a picture of a Bloodstone, and phrased it like a new gem in the show. It was a low blow.
