A 30 day collection of poems

I stand in front of the mirror
looking over myself
seeing the changes

I’ve got those “boy hips”
straight down from the waist
My thighs and calves
A bit more defined

My stomach seems bigger
but I can’t quite tell.

Arms more defined
Face a little sharper.

I look in the mirror
and can see more of
The man that I am.

I try to ignore the parts
I dislike.
My chest, mostly
Focusing on the positive.

The changes I see
only make me
for what’s to

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
