So thankful for that it is Friday and I hope everyone has a safe, fun weekend! It is brutally cold here, and supposed to get colder over the weekend, so part of me just wants to hibernate. I’ll likely do just that tonight after I pick up a banh mi sammie ($10, been missing those sandwiches) but tomorrow I’ve got to go get my hair done ($150), and am also taking the dog to the vet on Monday for some blood work ($120 or so), so totally hibernating is out. Also out is Austerity February. Probably pretty presumptuous of me to think I could pull it off in a month where I’m going to a wedding ($$$$) and the dog requires not one but two trips to the vet ($billions). Le sigh.

Otherwise, I will likely eat out once ($20), and might finally see a movie this weekend ($13). The dude would like to do something for V Day but I am a curmudgeon who doesn’t go in for such nonsense. We’ll see who wins this fight.
