I agree with pretty much everything you say, and especially the last paragraph about the traitor you know. I’m not sure I agree about your last claim about Trump not accomplishing anything though, for two reasons: first, despite the fact that he’s a bumbling idiot (which I’m in complete agreement on), if he’s been elected, then the congress he presides over came up in the same election and may well mirror him such that he will have an easier time making a complete clusterfuck of our nation. Second, and far more worrying to me, is not that Trump himself will manage to do anything — it’s that his election will strengthen the incredibly nasty, hateful segment of our nation. It’s not Trump that scares me nearly so much as his supporters, and The Are Everywhere. They’re the ones who will make a disaster of our local politics and policies. They’re the ones who will make my wife’s life (also a transwoman) miserable as she tries to teach in our local school system. They are what I fear, and a Trump presidency will give them a level of legitimacy and power that keeps me up at night. Whatever else I can say about HRC, at least her supporters don’t leave me in cold sweats.
Hilary sold the American people out repeatedly.
