The Nomination Process for Castle Connolly Top Doctors

Dr. Lopa Gupta is a White Plains, New York-based laser surgeon specializing in eyelid and cosmetic surgery. Working from her practice on NY’s Park Avenue, Dr. Lopa Gupta received the Castle Connolly Top Doctor Award in 2016.

Castle Connolly Top Doctors are discovered based on a nomination process in which licensed physicians, MDs, and DOs are invited to nominate outstanding doctors who excel in their given fields of medicine. Additionally, the Castle Connolly physician-led research team speaks with specialists, clinical department chairs, and medical affairs vice presidents across the country in order to gain insight into doctors who are top specialists in various disease treatments and procedures. The research team then reviews the credentials, medical education, training, certifications, appointments, and professional achievements of all nominees.

Doctors who are selected will either be named as a regionally outstanding or nationally outstanding Castle Connolly Top Doctor and will be listed in the organization’s guides.
