They were calling touch-fouls every 15 seconds. It may sound simple and reverse to some, but I never understood why NBA players foul out with 6 fouls and college players are out with 5 fouls. Shouldn’t NBA veterans know how to not foul and young college athletes should be given more of a curve?

College should be 6 fouls at least in tournament/championship games. You can’t really pre-scout the refs tendencies, how are the players and coaches supposed to know the type of play some refs allow but others don’t. In such a high-stake game, the officiating should be clear, consistent, and not take the game away from the players.

It’s the teams’ moment to shine on the court, keep the refs on the sideline.
