A quick and naive point of view.It started becoming a problem when people asked me what I did, and I’d change the subject. Talking about work became stupid. “I’m a consultant.” There was a shocking regularity to the delivery — Flat pitch, slightly irritated tone, eyes glazed over, gaze shifted off into the distance.
