This time we will explain how the Lord Coin private member area https://market.lordmancer2.com works, how it will be improved in the future. We have introduced the basic functionality and will extend it in the nearest future.

The purpose of the service

https://market.lordmancer2.com is a web service which is used to allow users to deal with Lord Coins. According to the Google and Apple rules, we can not implement the full Lord Coin usage just inside the game. For example, paragraph 3.1.1 of App Store Guidelines contains the following: “…you must use in-app purchase. Apps may not use their own mechanisms to unlock content or functionality, such as license keys, augmented reality markers, QR codes, etc. Apps and their metadata may not include buttons, external links, or other calls to action that direct customers to purchasing mechanisms other than in-app purchase.” This means that we can not put any functionality for sending or buying Lord Coins inside the game as Lord Coins can be used to pay for in-game values and Apple can treat this as an external purchase. On the other hand, paragraph 3.1.5 (b) relating to Cryptocurrencies says: “(i) Wallets: Apps may facilitate virtual currency storage, provided they are offered by developers enrolled as an organization.

As a result, we can allow storing Lord Coins in the game, but can not allow users to buy Lord Coins from the game or even place buttons that redirect players to external services to do that.

Lord Coin private area allows players:

  1. send Lord Coins from Ethereum wallets or Exchanges to their game accounts (available now);
  2. manage Lord Coin balance (available now);
  3. withdraw Lord Coins from the game accounts to the Ethereum blockchain (not available now — will be allowed after full tests and resolving some legal issues);
  4. trading in-game values (not available now — you can trade only inside the game);

How to send Lord Coins to your game account

  1. Authorize on the service using your game credentials (either email/password or vk.com account).

2. See your current LC balance and transaction history

3. Click on “Deposit”

There you will see an Ethereum wallet address where you need to send Lord Coins. The address is reserved for you for 30 minutes. You need to confirm transaction during this period. Once you have sent the transaction, you need to click on the “Done” button.

4. Once you have pressed the “Done” button, we will get a notification and after getting 10 confirmations from the Ethereum network, we will complete your request.

Please be noticed that all transactions are confirmed manually and it may take some time. Please contact us if your request has not changed its status after 30 minutes.

5. Once the transaction is confirmed, you will see Lord Coins on https://market.lordmancer2.com and inside the game (in Hero Bag).

What’s next?

The next step is allowing Lord Coins withdrawal. Before we can do that we need to decide how to charge a comission for the withdrawal and finish some legal related tasks (to avoid any potential problems connected to money transmitting).

Why do we confirm all transactions manually? We know that a real experience of users can differ from an expected one. There is one step that can potentially lead to mistakes in case of a fully automated system — everyone should send Lord Coins exactly to the shown address. We have a set of addresses and they are used in a cycle. You can be given with different addresses for each transaction. We decided to observe the process closely for a while and then decide if it is needed to be improved and automated.
