Hi everybody!

We have not published anything for a while. But now we have a lot of news to share!

First of all, as it was promised, we published a version of the game with a new equipment system (you can download an Android apk file here). We also have already done some tests and implemented a lot of changes in game balance. Also, we managed to redesign the whole development process in order to release a new build each week! From the player point of view not every update will probably contain significant changes, but anyway, now we are able to test our hypotheses and make required changes faster.

We have coped with the problems in the iOS version and soon all Test Flight testers will receive the latest version. You can request iOS build using this form and as soon as it passes review from Apple, you will receive an email.

So, what’s next? When will the game be published?

We do want to do it as soon as possible, but it’s better to release an excellent product just at a proper time.

Finally, the updated roadmap for the next couple of months is below.

Till 3th of May. Weekly updates which will introduce: item crafting and enhancement, new game resources, new geography system of the game world, completely new user interfaces, and a lot of content changes like bots, quests, etc. Also, we will continue to aquire a few users to collect data and calculate metrics on player behavior.

New game interface

Till 31st of May. We will introduce Lord Coin as a currency inside the game, and release a web tool for players to manage their Lord Coin account. If the game metrics are good enough, we will start promoting the game in Russia and other Russian speaking countries.

During these two months (April and May) we will also be contacting with some publishers. In May we are going to participate in Crypto Games Conference in Kiev and DevGAMM conference in Moscow to introduce Lordmancer II to publishers. In summer, we will mostly be focusing on dealing with potential publishers. Our goal is to be ready to get onto new markets in the early autumn.

Russia and CIS countries — the beta-test market for Lordmancer II

When we have a positive cash flow, we will do some promotion in Russia and other CIS countries by ourselves or with a publisher. Talking of all other markets, we are going to sign proper publishing contracts.

People always ask why not just make Lordmancer II available all over the world. The answer is that publishers do not like games that have been already released. So it is better to have Russian market as a test market and find a good publisher than publish it in a hurry and harm the future of Lordmancer II.

Anyway, as soon as we start trading for Lord Coin, we are to raise the demand on the token on exchanges.

By the end of summer, we are going to have publishing contracts to be ready to seize new markets during the high season.
