A month has passed since we posted Chapter 6 which described our roadmap. It is time to draw some conclusions.

In April we introduced crafting and enhancement systems to create in-game items and improve them. There are 14 resources for crafting and 5 for enhancement that should be farmed and looted on different lands. It is a base for everyday player activities and game economy. Also, we polished the initial player sessions basing on game data and metrics. We see significant changes in game metrics like “levels reached by players” and “session length”. That prooves we are on a right way.

Next week we are expecting to publish a new version with:

  • completely re-designed user interfaces (UI); We have changed the game significantly but the UI is still the same and sometimes it is more than inconvenient but almost non-working.
  • some significant changes in game world geography. We need to create a geography which motivates players to join clans and trade with other players. The first portion of the “clan lands” will be introduced next week as well.

In addition to the mentioned above, our developing plan for May includes:

  • introducing new “wild lands” where players will farm and loot resources; These lands will be quite a dangerous places where players from different clans will meet each other and fight for resources;
  • adding new everyday quests that will motivate players to complete all kinds of activity each day;
  • we already have good player interactions like PvP, duels, castle sieges and clan raids, but they are used very occasionaly; We need to polish them a little and implement some game design decisions that will push players to these multiplayer activities;
  • developing an integration modul between Ethereum blockchain and Lordmancer to allow using Lord Coins inside the game.

Our business developing plan for May is:

  • visiting Crypto Games conference in Kiev. CEO of Lordmancer II Anton Telitsyn will be a speaker there;
  • visiting Dev GAMM conference in Moscow. We will introduce the game to publishers at Showcase;
  • buying a significant amount of installs to have proper game data and metrics from new players;
