WHAT I WOULDN’T DO FOR A DIAL-UP PHONE AND A BUSY SIGNAL

IN MY PREP SCHOOL DAYS (50's-60's) THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS WE WERE TAUGHT WERE:

SIT DOWN
GO TO THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE….. NOW,KID!!

The mobile phone movement changed my life by making things so much easier in the business world.I now get to use some of those other things I learned back in my school days

To call another business,(for example) I now have to take a Math Test, a Multiple Choice Quiz (as our menu has changed) I’m then put on hold for a Stress Endurance Test, and after finally reaching customer “service,” …. well, that’s a whole different story.
I now simply ask for the CEO’ spouses home number… Ya know, The One person who makes all the decisions.

I’m looking forward to the time when The Machines completely take over.
