Kelly Whalen To the authors point, the first step is to truly address the racial issues that are built into the fabric of American society. As a country we still have not truly addressed how race matters and impacts all of us.

I believe, while we cannot remove negative or preferential bias from people, with the right strategic approach we can remove it systemically. While my recommendations may work, the will be more effective if we stop shying away from the elephant in the boardrooms across America.
