In the age of the internet, the barriers to communication are at an all time low.

Exchanging information between each other has been optimized and the ability to connect and engage with each other is an option at scale.

I can send a message to my 6th grade girlfriend on LinkedIn right now.

I can send a snap on Snapchat to my pastor.

I can send a tweet to Mark Cuban and there's a chance he may respond.

None of this could have been possible a few decades ago and yet business people haven’t caught up.

There are still people who I’ve known since elementary school copying and pasting an email template in the hopes that I am not competent to realize it.

Stop spending time on using personal tools to build impersonal transactional relationships.

In a world where we can, spend time building meaningful relationships where more than money can be exchanged.
