When Failure Sucks

Failure sucks when you didn’t give it your all.

If you’ve done the work and did what you could do with what you have, why in the world would failure suck?

If there was nothing more that you could’ve done, spending time sulking over your failures has no benefits.

It’s the times when we didn’t give it our all is when failure sucks, not the outcome of our effort.

When we know we could have been better prepared, done more to apply ourselves or could’ve been more persistent and consistent in our efforts are the times when failure eats at us.

That’s why staying present in the moment and giving it all you got is so important. It’s the only thing that you have control over and when you don’t take full responsibility over your actions right here, right now, is when failure stings the most.

Leave it all out there and put in the work. You have control over both of those aspects in your life and that’s all you need to focus on whether you win or lose.
