When You’re Alone
I spend the first few hours of my day alone. I’m alone with myself, getting my day started and completing my morning routine.
This gives me time to be with myself and time to think.
At times I even over think.
I over think about what I should be doing, what I shouldn’t be doing, and what would he/she be doing.
All of these things I over think about takes time and energy away from what I could be doing and taking action should be the only thing I place any importance on.
When the thinking is over flowing and fear, doubt, and anxiety creeps in, I like to remind myself that I’m alone with no one standing in front of me impatiently waiting for me to get something done.
Getting things done are important, but realizing that over thinking about getting something done never helps but only hurts.
Be okay with being alone and start taking action when no one else is around. That’s all you can do and that’s all you need to validate your efforts.
