I like the article, but this data about app usage seems a little over-simplifying. You see games, entertainment and social apps make up pretty much the entire native app section. So for example, Amazon wouldn’t really benefit from a good mobile app compared to a good pwa. I mean, why should I install the eBay or Amazon app when their site is already great? We basically use apps when the website is not good enough, or when we want to use it for a long time (see WhatsApp, Facebook, games, YouTube, Netflix…) but I think for apps that generally get used for specific needs and not just any time during the day, pwas are way better for the user.
