Television’s Exuberant Defender of Wildlife

If you haven’t seen the great British naturalist David Attenborough, you’re in for a treat, and an education. PBS, which has carried Attenborough’s features for decades in the U.S. has been running a retrospective of his work on ‘Nature.’ The 3-part series was capably hosted by Attenborough himself, now 88. He reminds us how far science has come in knowledge and attitudes towards the natural world in just his lifetime. Videos of Attenborough’s brilliant tours of the natural world are available on Netflix and other sources online. Do a kid a favor and introduce him to this exuberant tour guide of our natural world.
