Atari is hoping its past can power its future.

Through a partnership between PLAION and Atari, the companies announced a new console. The Atari 2600+ will be released Nov. 17.

The console will be “a modern-day faithful recreation of the iconic, pioneering console that first appeared in 1980.”

The system will launch with 10 games: Adventure, Combat, Dodge ‘Em, Haunted House, Maze Craze, Missile Command, Realsports Volleyball, Surround, Video Pinball and Yars’ Revenge.

A joystick controller will come bundled with the system. The controller will feature the same size and layout as the original Atari 2600 Joystick Controller.

The Atari 2600+ will come with a MSRP of $129.99. Additional game cartridges and a stand alone joystick controller will also be available. More details, including preorder information, can be found here.
