Pre-Order Shipment Update

We wanted to give everyone the latest update on pre-orders and thank you for your patience and continued support.
We have now delivered 56% of the pre-orders. By the end of this week, we will have delivered 77% of all pre-orders. On June 27th we provided shipping estimates to all direct Luma pre-order customers. Of the customers delivered so far, 100% of those were delivered by the estimated date. 90% were delivered ahead of that estimated date. That said, we understand that many of you are still waiting for your product. Six weeks after launch is longer than it should be and we apologize for the delay.
The greatest communication challenge has been for those customers who pre-ordered through Amazon. We apologize that you did not receive the shipping estimate email. Unfortunately, we do not have access to the list of customers who purchased from Amazon to contact them directly. We understand that it is frustrating to not know when your Luma will arrive. We’ve shipped 41% of Amazon pre-orders already. By the end of this week 62% will be shipped. By August 16th, Luma will have shipped 100% of Amazon pre-orders to Amazon, which will arrive to customers by August 26th at the latest.
For those who ordered non-White Lumas, if you ordered on getLuma.com you have already received an email with your gift card. If you ordered on Amazon, you will receive your gift card over the next few weeks.
Many of you will start noticing Lumas in Best Buy stores and on their website. As we mentioned previously, we’re shipping 95% of Lumas to pre-order customers, but are required to share a fraction of our inventory to our retail partners.
We’re just getting going here and appreciate all the support. We can’t wait for you to experience Luma Surround WiFi in the coming weeks.
