The can of SPAM contains 595 calories, 490 calories of fat, 24.5g of protein, and 2.625g of sodium.
SPAM rose to popularity since you can eat it right out of the can, making it a useful product for feeding soldiers during World War II. But SPAM lends itself to a variety of culinary deliciousness in all meals. It’s like a bacon substitute. Tastes good but not usually very good for you.
