What Does the New Space Race Mean?

Enter the dragon. After the US won the space race by landing on the Moon, space lost its lustre. But China’s growing ambitions over the last two decades have gotten NASA’s attention. India, Japan, and the UAE also have growing ambitions. Have we entered Space Race 2.0? Or is the actual race between Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos?

Space carries prestige. No other endeavour, except possibly nuclear weapons…
