Hey folks, sorry I haven’t been doing these. It is a long story. But I figured I might as well put the basics down in case anyone needs them.

This is an Earth Slayer event, an most enemies will be vulnerable to Beast Killer. Noble Killer will also be common. While Beast Killer is normally great for Legend Trials, this is the exception. The Water Boss “Century’s Storm” requires Chaotic Killer, unlike the others.

There wasn’t a Facebook image this week, I was so lost :(

Historical Heroes:

  1. Gaia, Goddess of Nature: 100 Dust / 4★ or higher
  2. Saeder of Firm Root: Not in Dust, likely to be in Drillfist’s Depot for 750💎
  3. Haroun the Shrewd: 100 dust / 4★ or higher

Event Deck: On-Hit

Blast from the past this week, On-Hit hasn’t been seen since #172-The Griffon’s Roost (Dark Slayer, Human) back in June. You might also remember it from #164-Hellboy or #156-Ultimate Power Couple (Timeless Lovers). That was before the Anniversary Month power-up of decks, and it shows.

Benedicta, Guardian Angel

Support Hero: “Benedicta, Guardian Angel” is actually quite nice. She creates 3 Earth Gems on an attack, and can apply that to up to 3 Earth Slayers with her Battle Skill (which, including her own, will be 12 Earth Gems when you attack). This is a good way to fill a board, and will pair nicely with last Earth Slayer’s UR or UF (United Taurs). Improvement: Cooldown -1

Arturo, Sanctified Keeper & Champion of the Dead

Main Hero “Arturo, Sanctified Keeper” and Master Hero “Champion of the Dead” create relatively small numbers of Power Gems (4 x I and 5 x IV) and has a nuke. However, the nuke is small for Slayer and can be a detriment, as it can cause you to miss making a proper attack as someone swoops in and kills. If you do get these Heroes, you can sometimes keep the nuke from being fired by using it before other PG creators, because it does require a certain number of PG on the board. Improvement: PG +2 (MC only), Cooldown -1

Benedicta, Graveyard Goddess & The Unquiet Ones

Ultra Rare “Benedicta, Graveyard Goddess” and Ultimate Form “The Unquiet Ones” are the PG versions of Benedicta, creating 2 PG (II or IV) when they attack, and applying it to up to 3 other Heroes with their Battle Skill, for a total of 8 x PG II or IV. That is…not good, other Heroes can make more with better extras and without attacking. There is also an ATK% boost on the UF but that really isn’t impressive these days. Improvements: PG +1, Cooldown -1

Personally, I’d strongly recommend the Serpent Vault for United Taurs, or using the old Furious Goblin Jockey as a UF if you can. Even with increased counters and 50% more UR / MC, this deck is decent at best. It falls flat compared to more recent designs, Cursed is a barely existent type which limits synergies, and you’ll get the Support free anyway.

Frenzy Boss

Beast Killer across the board, Noble Killer for Earth.

Rewards and Offers

Unsettled Souls

Leaderboard Hero: Siphon. Ouch. The full heal is worse than Overclocked Urhart (who has the same cooldown, but with a lower charge, Delay 2, and Commander), and Weaken really isn’t dangerous enough to use a Warden for. I’d recommend helping the Unsettled Souls rest by returning them to dust, unless you absolutely need to fill out your Water Wardens.

Quest and Leaderboard Rewards: GvG Hammer is traditionally one of the worst collections, even after they added random Legend Trial bits at the end. That continues to be true with the additional Leaderboard rewards, which are mostly Quetzl eyes and Korelium, with the rare stuff placed so high that if you can get it, you probably already have it. Oh well, there are orbs and dust.

Drillfist Depot Weekly Offer: Grove of the Titans, again. If you don’t have Master Hero Abarkuh I’d strongly recommend it, he is not only a Slayer/Warden but can create an impressive number of PGs quickly, while also healing (think Hel and Thoth). The rest are uneccessary, unless you need Saeder for the Historical Hero Collection.
