Exciting changes coming to Legendary! Specifically, the removal of the changes from last Commander, plus 10 extra Hero and Relic slots and a mild boost to Rei. All good things.
This week is a Fire Commander, Chaotic Killer event, with a few Noble bosses. Nothing too special there, we will have Chaotic Killer again in 5 weeks for Fire Slayer but Commander decks tend to have a harder time in Slayer than the other way around.
Upcoming Event: Water Slayer, Chaotic Killer, Dragoon, Season 4, Killer Cycle restarts

FAQs and Notices
- Historical Heroes: Another trivially easy week. Shirala, Thuella, and Eva are all in the 3★ / 20 dust pool. And back to dust they will go, because Shirala and Eva were notably terrible event when they came out.
- Inferno Vault: A Rei-themed version of last week’s Sunfall Vault. Non-VIP will really want to go to Tier II for a full Fire Pentarc Gem along with all the normal goodies.
- Rei Boosts: Yes, they did actually boost her. Her stats are 10%-20% higher, and her Battle Skill at 4★-6★ has a higher ATK% buff, but still topping out at 200% when Ascended.
- Killer Cycle 2: Affinity/Event/Killer goes on a 50 week cycle, and restarts next week. That means there will be a second Ultimate with Water Slayer and Chaotic Killer, besides Guardians of Izlan.
- UPDATE! TPG Choice Coins will not carry over! See what I said about trusting messages people pass around from Customer Service? The Protector Coins will stay, but the Choice Coins will not. See the in-game news for more details.

Event Deck: PG Flood
Better known as Fishy Nikole and K-pop, I’m a fan of this deck for players of all levels. Besides completely breaking GvG you have a great Support with Damage Immunity, On-Hit Gems, and a small Heal, with the UR adding Cleanse. The other Heroes are very solid PG creators, their passive PG spawning is so high one of the biggest problems is accidentally killing a boss before setting up an Overkill attack!
Note: They adding a 10% Attack buff to the trigger buff this time (“Jaunting,” like Celebrating and Dancing). This should cause the Support and UR to be silenced by Weaken, but upon testing that doesn’t seem to be the case.
The idea is to activate Altern (UR any time, Support when Skill Points are over 200), get hit by the boss, then use the other Heroes (ideally lined up with the passive PG spawning). However, you usually don’t need to go to all that trouble. The deck plays nicely with others and works well even without the trigger buff
As Honored Heroes you could potentially combine this deck with Bestiarius and Flamma, Generation 2 Heroes with a good Honored ATK buff. This doesn’t tend to be too effective in Commander (nor will the new ATK% buff they added) because the Commander Gems are worth 25% x Multiplier, but could potentially be useful if you plan to use the deck vs Trial bosses or next Slayer.
Speaking of Slayer, Killer equivalents there are Final Formation for Chaotic (Piggies) and Despots of Despair (Double Attack) for Noble. Perfectly useable in a mixed deck with Rei for Leadership, consult your lock deck builder (or DECK BLDR) for more.
Defender Skills this week are Armor, Traitor, and Fear. The first two are on the Solos and easy enough, Fear is nightmarish and on the Guild Boss. If you need more than a few turns to take it down I’d recommend multiple counters or a Warden at higher levels, to avoid the annoyance.
Punisher Boss
- Level 1+: Traitor
- Level 101+: Armor
- Level 201+: Alacrity, Dodge
Not too bad, Traitor can do a lot of damage but you can use timing to avoid Armor and Dodge. Fire also has lots of Cleanse options, besides this week we have Reforged Vanguard Contessa for Traitor and (if for some reason it matters to your deck) Alacrity, and Pumpkin Queen / Baleful Bride for Armor and Dodge.
Rewards and Offers
Leaderboard Hero: Apparently Lizard Josh’s real name is…Izarth, Fallen Angel, Ascended? Wait, never mind, they fixed the bug. It is now Dondrakkar, Lizard King. He’s not terrible, Alacrity is a good Defender Skill and Thorns is a decent enough Counter, but these new Battle Skills are still awful. Destroying all non-Affinity gems was common in Gen 1 with Cooldown 3, this has a 7! I guess we should be thankful it doesn’t have Charge 18 again as well, but it is easily the weakest of the four we’ve seen.

Weekly Offer: Fostered by Flames. Non-optional, if you don’t have them get Volcanic Quilldrac and maybe Blazing Argoli Polykeph too. Their ATK% buff is so large (up to 4000%-5000%) that it is not only worth using in Dragon-type Gen 3 decks (even non-Fire decks), but can reach screenshot-worthy ridiculousness.

Generation Vault: We should have a second Vault with Event #185-The Power of Zeus. This is a God-type Apex (“Grail”) deck, and while it was buffed over previous versions I wouldn’t recommend going for it over this week’s PG Flood. However, if you are fairly new, picking up a copy of the Support Hero “Stiffling Pandora” can be very handy (it takes some build up, but she can potentially drop 20 PG III!). The Relic also triggers its PG from any God, so is nice to have if you use Ra or Thoth regularly.
