Yes. The answer to your questions is, yes. There is such a thing. I have a such a friend. No kidding eh.

I will be 73 this year and this amazing friendship didn’t come along until I was 40 years old. Before I had my unconditional friend I was not truly “me” or “free.”

After finding true friendship, I was able to understand what freedom really mean because I become my own true best friend.

I think that unconditional love and friendship is the best possible gift a person can receive and that without this gift of being accepted, flaws and all, it is almost impossible to trust anything or anyone.

For over 30 years, my best friend and I have had incredibly joyous experiences and shared many events; most of all we have weathered some very difficult times and we know that relationships like ours are extremely rare and precious.
