Over the past few months, Grandmother Ayahuasca has been calling to me — LOUDLY — and she is only getting louder.

Grandmother Ayahuasca began calling to me back in 2021; planting her seeds deep within my mind’s eye.

At the time, I was still baby steps into the world of plant medicine and psychedelics. And to be honest, the sanctity of her medicine intimidated me. I struggled to let go of control, knowing she would likely bring me to face some truths that I deemed I was not yet ready to confront.

So, I made the decision to set her aside for a while. I knew she was something to be respected and revered; not taken lightly or on a whim.

Fast forward to November of 2022, I took a medical leave from work to undergo a surgical procedure. I ended up extending this leave beyond my surgical recovery, because I had come to recognize that I was teetering on…
