Adding Sputnik Radio to iTunes.

Sadly Sputnik Radio (my favourite Radio Station these days) isn’t part of the radio lineup that comes with Apple’s iTunes software. You can play it in a Web browser, but I prefer to have my media play from iTunes in the background. Thankfully we can add custom audio streams to iTunes. here’s how we do it.

In iTunes go to the File Menu and select ‘Open Stream’ (or press CMD/Alt on Windows and U) then past in: https://nfw.ria.ru/flv/audio.aspx?ID=75651129&type=mp3 press ok and you should hear Sputnik Radio through your speakers. iTunes will get the metadata from the stream and in a few seconds name in Sputnik. You can of course customise the name in iTunes in the normal way.
