Trust Faith:

Faith is defined as 'complete trust or confidence in someone or something'
(The obligation due to the source of Trust: a derivative of Truth — the thing or person that has validated their reliability to the degree you are comfortable in your belief)
Trust is defined as 'firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.' (Strong or great COMFORT in ones ability, action, agreement, or alliance)

While at first glance the words are often used interchangeably and claimed to be synonymous — look deeper:

Faith is a derivative of Trust — You must first trust before you have faith in anything.

Faith is the duty of fulfilling one’s trust — It is an obligation predicated on Trust being established; Faith is owed to the source of trust

Often we are disappointed because we lead with the obligation before the the comfort in is established.

[Trust leads Faith follows]
