The EOS Airdrop future may belong to the voter
On September 7th (11:00 am today), the PUBLYTO project (EOS-based content ecosystem) will take a snapshot and differentiate users based on whether they participate in EOS node voting.
Users who voted will receive 1 EOS : 2 PUB, while those who did not vote will only get 1 EOS : 1 PUB, which greatly encourages users to participate in EOS voting. With this chance, MEET.ONE introduces the proxy voting function to everyone.
What is proxy voting?
In the EOS blockchain, all EOS holders have voting rights to select the highly skilled and trustworthy BPs to maintain EOS network security and stability.
After staking the EOS, the user can choose to vote directly or proxy voting. The proxy owner only gets the voting rights and does not transfer the EOS token to the proxy account. In this mode, the proxy owners will select the trusted node for unified voting, and the user does not need additional operations.
How to operate proxy voting?
- Before proxy voting, you need to stake EOS to get the corresponding amount of voting rights.
On “Assets” page → click “Staked Resources”

2. On “Assets” page, fill in the number of Stake EOS in the CPU option. For example, if you fill in 100 EOS, you will get 100 EOS corresponding CPU resources and 100 EOS corresponding voting rights. Both are obtained at the same time, that is, proxy voting does not affect CPU usage.

3. After you have the right to vote, on the “Discovery” page → click “BP Vote”.

4. Select “Proxy” in the top right.

5. Select “MEET.ONE Proxy” (Proxy account: meetoneproxy) → enter the password to complete the voting authorization.

Small Tips:
After voting by proxy, the user no longer needs to choose a node or update the vote, the proxy owner will vote on his behalf, and the vote that has been cast will be reset.
Proxy voting notice
1. The voting rights obtained by the proxy account are the total number of EOS staked by the account each time you authorize it, which means that you need to stake before you authorize the proxy owner.
If you cancel the stake, the voting rights of the proxy account will be reduced by the corresponding amount.
2. Stake EOS while exchanging CPU/NET resources and voting rights. Since the CPU often appears to be insufficient, it is recommended that you choose to exchange the CPU instead of the NET resource when you stake EOS. This operation can better meet the needs of the account.
