Over the Christmas break we learned of the passing of Editor Jerry Greenberg. We fondly recall having Jerry on our first feature panel for our “Sight, Sound & Story” series back in 2013. The panel was entitled “New York in the ’70s: NYC Legends Discuss their Work and their Favorite Moments from this Revolutionary Era in American Cinema.” We were delighted to have him join editors Alan Heim, ACE, Susan Morse, ACE, Bill Pankow, ACE and moderator/writer Bobbie O’Steen to lend insight into that historical and magical period of New York City filmmaking. It was a rare treat and one that everyone who was there will remember. Below are some highlights of Jerry talking about that time period in New York, learning his craft under the late DeDe Allen, working on Kramer vs. Kramer and Dressed to Kill.
