Hard link vs Symbolic link
A hard link is where a file is located, for example: /holberton/school/betty.txt is the link you would type to get to the betty.txt file. A symbolic link refers to a hard link, if I wanted to make a symbolic link for the betty.txt file and name it betty; then I would type ln -s betty /holberton/school/betty and hit enter. This would allow me to use “betty’ as a link when I want to refer to the file betty.txt.
