Response to PR Criticism

Our Power Rankings have come under fire as some say they are meaningless due to a team like the Giants who have 8 wins being above a 9 win team and a 10 win team. Also another example is the Steelers being last in the rankings when they have 2 wins and there is a one win team and a 0 win team.

I respond to this Criticism by saying I understand the point of view but understand these rankings are not a picture of the entire season. They are a picture of right now and capturing who is hot and who is dead.

We push these rankings every advance. It is a time consuming process with several people involved. We are not trying to present a league standing list or mimic the auto generated list that Daddyleagues creates. We are capturing something different.

If Steelers think they should be above the Cards and Bengals, prove it. If Giants Shouldn’t be three then grab your popcorn and watch them fall. Otherwise it is what it is and you get what you get! :)

The Final Banter

Since the first episode of Ray and Sundance, Beyond the Whistle a blood feud has been boiling between Ray’s Chargers and my Bengals. The Blood Feud meets its climax today at 11am EST as our teams collide.

Ray sees it as an easy win. He’s been hating on the entire AFCN. It may bite him as this game against my Bengals and his game against Ravens will be must wins. If either of us get a W on him, his playoff hopes may be over. Last night in chat the final pregame banter was spun!
