Friends Vow — Nigeria’s Coolest Cloud Lending

I used to be a dreamer. Well I am still very much a dreamer and that was how it all began. It was about 19 years ago and I was just 14 years old when my older sister told me that the richest man in the world was the one that invented the computer, his name is Bill Gates she said. I can still remember how I stood in amusement as she said those words which sank into me and formed big dreams within me. From my little town of Sapele in Delta State Nigeria, I thought of the many ways through which I can make an impact on many lives with a computer.
I had asked my sister the content of a computer box and her reply was something I kept in my mind all my life. She had said the computer saves lives every day and every important project that is happening in the world is done by a computer. This formed my decision to study computer engineering in the University which was totally different from my initial plan to study English Language. It was during the military rule of General Abacha and teachers were not motivated enough to teach as so our last exams were a mess. 99% of us could not meet the set requirements and so I could not study Computer Engineering or Computer Science. I had to settle for Business Management.
Along the line of different future thoughts, I dedicated an exercise book to store my ideas since I noticed that I often forgot some of the great ideas I had conceived. Funny as it sounds now, it kept me in check with every step I took.
I remember my mum. Yes she played a vital role in fanning my dreams to flame. In fact it was through her that the main idea came. Back in the days, she would always ask me or my sisters to go collect a certain amount of money from her friend place at a particular time of the month and that birthed the idea of an internet bank based on Financial Credit. I learned from my very hardworking and creative mother who did everything to give us the best.
My journey did not come without very numerous challenges from the very first day. I had written it down in my book of ideas it down and left it, but every time I was on holiday from school, I managed to pay and learn a computer course, Web design, Computer Engineering, A+ and so on. About 5 months after I finish school, I got a Job with a Law Enforcement Agency in Nigeria fighting corruption. Although I never wanted to work because like a lot of my mates, my plan was to travel to the UK, my computer skills got me the job and I was put in the cybercrime and computer security unit.
Over time, I was overwhelmed by the importance of what we were doing in Nigeria and this made me to focus. I was still taking courses and honing my skills, but in 2009 the realities of life got to me, I was working but my bills were bigger than my income. I was particularly sad at the fact that the banks even make matters worse for people who seek due comfort. I thought to myself “if my bills are more than my income, then there is no need to work”. After several research and failed proposals, I decided to Focus. So I went to my book of ideas and I saw the option to create a product to fight piracy of optical disc that was when I came up with a platform for Stars, to create cable streaming service for the internet, where every business in the entertainment industry will be handled by one platform. It is basically a platform to connect entertainment stars with multiple streams of revenue. I then planned to make money which I would later use to create the Bank of Financial credit. Today, the tables have turned. Most of the places I sent proposals to in the past have now begun to call and send emails.
