How To Use Your Blog as an Idea Generator

As Tim Ferriss once said:

I use my blog to start my idea generator (or I think he was the one who said this). What he meant was that he doesn’t always know what to write about before he starts writing it down.

I think this is a “new” and cool way of writing your content and still generate ideas. You don’t need a draft or even a thought before you open your Wordpress Editor, Medium Editor or what ever you use.

For example: I had no idea what I wanted to write about when I took out my MacBook Air of my bag five minutes ago. I just wanted to write something after this busy week. I took the third idea that was generated in my brain at this specific moment.

It could maybe have been a better post with better content and better structure if I planned this post a week in advance. I could write it for hours — draft after draft, and it would probably be good. BUT — this is the root of my thoughts at the moment and that’s how I can generate even better ideas.

Let your thoughts run wild and when you’ve done it — write it down on a paper, a blog or anywhere you want.

Ps. I would appreciate if you could send me the first thing you write after this — would be awesome to hear your thoughts ☺
