Week 2- Dawn of hard work
Visual Design



We began the week with a lecture on composition and expanding on 2 point prospective. After the lecture we were let out to take photos as reference whilst experimenting with composition, this added to different camera angles, position and colour values. From this we were to use the photos to as inspiration and develop them further (As pictured below). After this we were asked to go to the Archway, this allowed to really experiment with camera angles whilst still keeping porspective theories in mind. (As pictured above)








Digital Painting
I began the day experimenting with textures, I was the late able to texture the rendered cube with 4 different textures and patterns.

After getting confident with all the aspects learned in visual design I was able to take a photo I like and develop it into a scene. Bearing in mind perspective, composition and texture. I used photo bashing with some stock images and images taken by myself and the understanding of lava texture to create a lava like scene from a normal photo.


Game Production
We began week 3 boot camp lesson where we were able to begin learning the vital tool of unwrapping a model to be able to apply realistic textures to our model. We also took this opptunity to further our understanding of 3ds Max application.
