Australian Dependent Visa

Bring your family to Australia on a dependent family visa. Whether you have a life partner or child living abroad whom you need to bring along with you or you are coming to study or work temporarily in Australia — your family is entitled for a dependent visa.
In case you are coming to Australia to study, you might bring your dependent relatives along with you. You can either include them on your original student visa application or you can apply for them to join you after you have begun your course in Australia. Partners, spouses and unmarried children less than 18 years old are qualified for dependent visas.
In case that you are including your dependent family members in your application for student visa, then you should incorporate all individuals from your family on your unique Form 157A, Application for a student visa.
And in case that you are applying for relatives to join you after you have begun your course, then you should present the accompanying documents:
- Form 157A, Application for a student visa;
- Form 919, Nomination of student dependants;
- A letter from one of your instructors expressing:
- The course you are pursuing,
- The duration of the course and the expected date of completion, and
In case that you are fulfilling all the course prerequisites;
- Proof that you can monetarily bolster your subordinate relatives;
- Proof of family ties, for example, marriage authentication or birth declaration;
- Proof of school enrolment of school-aged kids; and
- Proof of health insurance for dependants.
Subordinate Work Visa
In the event that you are coming to Australia on a worker visa, your dependent family members are entitled to come along with you on dependent visas.
On the off chance that you are coming to Australia on provisional work visa, only your partner or spouse and any unmarried child less than 18 years of age are qualified for dependent family visas.
In case that you are coming to Australia on a business visa or migrant worker, any dependent family member is eligible to come along with you including:
- Companion or Partner;
- Any child less than 25 years old;
- Old dependent relatives, for example, grandparents or parents.
