So it’s the end of April, and you still don’t have an internship…

If you’re looking for an internship this upcoming summer, good job! Your procrastination skills are quite impressive!

While it is still possible to find a position that works for you, also be aware that you may not get your first choice in internship positions because summer is right around the corner. You may need to wait until next summer to apply to that beer tasting internship (oh, yes, this exists).

There are a number of websites geared towards helping college students find paid and unpaid internships in a variety of locations. They allow you to enter search parameters to find internships that fit all of your requirements.

Although next summer is a year away, it’s not too early to start thinking about 2017 summer internship plans. If you are interested in interning at a specific company, go to the careers section of their website to see if they offer internships you might be interested in.

— Facebook offers a variety of summer college internships for those who are technologically inclined.

— If that is not really your area of expertise, how does interning at Cosmo sound?

— If that still isn’t your cup of tea, check out this list of 50 exciting internships for college students to read about internships everywhere from Marvel Entertainment to Nordstrom to the FBI!

It’s important to remember that many internships aren’t paid. However, the value of the experience you will gain will greatly pay off in the future.

That’s all for now!
