I think we are morally required to have some due diligence when giving money — giving cash can hurt people more than help if they are prone to self defeating behavior, but this is a great testament to the power of trusting people’s good intentions for themselves when they are expressed. Are there any opportunities through this program to teach financial skills or help coach recipient’s if they desire?
