Fantastical 2 for iPhone Update News:

App developer, Flexibits, announced today that a free update for their award-winning calendar app, Fantastical 2 for iPhone, is now available. This update also includes Fantastical 2 for the Apple Watch. The Apple Watch app includes the ability to view events and reminders in the friendly Fantastical list. Also included is a customizable glance that provides users with a quick way to see their next upcoming event.
“The Apple Watch was designed to provide users with quick access to their info,” said Michael Simmons, Co-Founder of Flexibits. “We designed Fantastical 2 for Apple Watch to bring the friendly experience of Fantastical to our users’ wrists.”

Fantastical 2 lets users quickly and easily create, view, and search all of their events and reminders. The advanced natural language engine is extremely expressive, enabling users to enter event or reminder details in their own style. For example, users can use sentences such as “Lunch with Elon at 123 Main Street on Tuesday,” and Fantastical 2 will translate the sentence into an event and add it to their calendar. And with support for reminders, users can use sentences such as “todo pick up dry cleaning,” and the user will have a reminder, ready to check off.
Fantastical 2 is localized in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish, letting users enter events in their preferred language. Best of all, Fantastical automatically detects the entered language for an event or reminder regardless of the system’s language setting. On devices supporting dictation, events or reminders can also be created simply by speaking.

We have been big fans of Fantastical 2 here at MacSources and are very excited about this Apple Watch integration. I have been one of the thousands of people that miss out on the Reminders app being on my Apple Watch and this new integration brings full reminders to the watch. We’ve only been able to test out the update for a short while, but we are already in love with it. It’s working as advertised and the update process went very smoothly. I feel like Fantastical is a much better calendar experience than the native Apple Calendar app. And now, that experience has crossed over to the Apple Watch.
Fantastical 2 for iPhone is available now for $4.99 (US) on the App Store, or at www.AppStore.com/Fantastical2
