A Tragic Announcement

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vincenzo (v1nc) on Tuesday, September 11th. He has been a valued member of our team since February of 2018 and will be profoundly missed.

Although Vincenzo didn’t officially join the team until February, he had been a long-term supporter of Machinecoin prior and made many contributions to the project. Vincenzo created Warp Speed, the in-block difficulty adjusting algorithm integrated with TimeTravel. He also assisted with the development of masternodes and spearheaded an undisclosed project (called Machine Gate), to be announced shortly in an updated timeline and white paper.

We are shocked and saddened to learn of Vincenzo’s passing. He has been such a brilliant, motivated, and positive team member. He approached every problem with confidence, always striving toward his vision of creating real digital freedom, and enthusiastically stepping up to solve issues within the Machinecoin community. Please keep Vincenzo’s girlfriend and his family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.
