In today’s article, we are thrilled to announce that Mad Badge is finally here, up and running!
What is Mad Badge again?
Before we jump into how it operates, let’s quickly rewind what Mad Badge is about and what could it bring to its owners.
Mad Badge is a series of distinctive emblems obtained as the result of one’s blockchain activities, in other words, a visualization of your blockchain life, such as DAO memberships, owning assets, event accomplishments, on-chain relationships & interactions, and so on and so forth.
Owning Mad Badges could bring you all sorts of benefits:
Extra V2E (View to Earn) reward quota
Seasonal perks and events for certain badge holders
Increase your V2E reward via targeted marketing bonus

How do you claim Mad Badges?
Claiming your Mad Badges is very straight-forward and only requires a few clicks, a brief instruction is provided below.
- Connect your crypto wallet (top right corner).
Note: for this demonstration, MetaMask wallet is chosen
2. Sign the signature request to view Mad Badges available to you based on your blockchain activities to date.
Note: make sure the signature originates from MadMen, such signature will NOT trigger any blockchain transactions, NOR incurring any Gas fees, please be vigilant!
3. Upon having signed the signature request, give it a few seconds, then all Mad Badges available for you to claim will be displayed, with background color lightened in Lime and a green unlocked padlock icon sitting on the top right corner of each badge. Your total badges available and these already claimed are also shown on the page.
4. Select one to be claimed, e.g. GAS LVL1 badge is selected for this demonstration, the Claim pop-up is displayed, then click “CLAIM NOW”.
5. Sign the signature request to claim the Mad Badge selected, GAS LVL1 for this case.
Note: Again! Make sure the signature originates from MadMen, such signature will NOT trigger any blockchain transactions, NOR incurring any Gas fees.
6. Claim confirmation pop-up is displayed
7. See the background color of the claimed badge is turned to Lemon with a green tick on the top right corner, plus the stats on claimable vs claimed badges are also updated on the page? Yes, the claimed Mad Badge is now in your pocket, congrats on achieving such a milestone in your blockchain life, and enjoy all sorts of benefits it could bring to you (extra V2E reward, benefits through MadMen’s partners, additional MP through targeted marketing, etc.)!
8. Click the “Share” link and choose your preferred channel to tell the world about what you have just achieved and spread a word about MadMen, get rewarded of course with a dedicated Mad Badge — Mad Buddy!
