Thursdays Rock

& not just because I got a free snowcone

I’ve been here for a whole 10 days & I’m not dead yet!!!!! My roommate is wonderful, I’ve done & folded two whole loads of laundry & cried, but only over a puppy video.

My friends say I have a dog radar because I can see dogs from half a mile away. Really. They make living on this planet worthwhile.

But anyway, Thursday has set it self up to be the best day of the week. I have a 9:30 Film & Digital Media/Introduction to Mass Communication class with a professor who, with very little explination, included a “well-educated trout” at different points throughout his lecture. Hilarious, to say the least. Next is my 11 AM Astronomy Lecture in what I believe is one of the largest lecture halls on campus. There has to be atleast 300 people if not more. It’s kind of terrifying just because of how tall this room is. But the professor seems nice and seems to really enjoy Astronomy so it’s all good! Then a quiet two hour lunch & my required Christian Scriptures class, which is probably going to be my hardest class this semester. But my professor is super passionate about the topic and makes lectures interesting (and note taking daunting!). I finish Thursdays at 3:15! How awesome is that?

And on my walk to my bike, the Kona Ice truck was parked outside. Free Snow Cones. Heck yes.

Thursdays are gonna be good days.
