Due to the dominance of the Google Search engine, ‘to google’ has become a verb added in the Oxford dictionary too. Have you checked the products that Google has? From Gmail to Google chrome and from Google play store to Youtube, it’s everywhere in our digital world.
Its ‘Yahoo time’ again
Do you know there are 63 million google searches every second? If Google collapses, all this traffic will turn to search engines like Yahoo, Bing, etc. which do not have proper filters. We will scroll through a lot of junk information before finally landing on what we want.
We may have to call up each other or meet in groups to resolve every minor issue like How to cook rice perfectly? Or What if I have a headache?

How many of you have a Gmail account? Gmail is a preferred email service because of huge storage data (Free 15 GB/Account) and its easy synchronization with other familiar platforms. Remember signing in with google on so many mobile applications?
With no google docs and sheets, Microsoft will have time to cherish.
Communication and data share will be extremely difficult without this amazing service.
Find Your Way Without Google Maps
Google maps account for 13% google searches which is an insane fact. Without google maps to show us the directions, we may accidentally discover some new destinations like Christopher Columbus.
Our life will go back to old times where we need to stop at each corner asking for the route & naughty people may keep on misleading us. We may have to preserve an address & route details of our destination like some rare treasure.
Can you imagine what will happen to services like Uber, Ola, Swiggy, Zomato, etc.?
Smartphones without Android
Android is one more feather in the cap of google. More than 80% of smartphones in use today are android devices. We will not be able to sync our contacts, app data, calendars, and so on. No reminders to keep us on toes.
Pricing of the iPhone may surge making it further beyond the reach of the common man. Blackberry may have a chance of revival.
You cant say ‘OK Google’ anymore.
We haven’t even got into the discussion of all areas of Google like Google photos, Google Chrome, Google meets, Youtube & so on. So is there any digital technology where Google has no presence? Possibly No.
Will there be a solution if Google doesn’t exist?
With no Google in the future, we may have alternative technology. Somebody else will take up the sweet spot sooner or later. When the Chinese government banned Google, Robin Li developed Baidu.
With the monopoly of Google getting over, you never know the rising competition and need of the hour may compel developers to come up with a mightier replacement for Google.
Replacement might be better too.
