African countries had a strong presence at Expo 2020 Dubai. For the first time in the 170-year history of World Expos, every African nation participated and was represented, each with its own pavilion, while the African Union hosted its own pavilion at Expo 2020. Building on the long-standing friendship between the UAE and Africa — one based on mutual respect and a shared vision — Expo 2020 offered African nations the opportunity to showcase their individual visions for the future.

Botswana: A place to Live, Visit and Invest

Botswana is one of the countries in Africa that can proudly pronounce itself as a positive destination for investment, leisure and work. By being centrally located, Botswana presents an opportunity for expansion and exporting to the wider Southern African region, which provides an even bigger market. Botswana consistently ranks as a highly recognized international region to visit.
