Alignment with the UAE

Innovation has always been at the core of the UAE’s development strategy. In February 2018, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced the National Strategy for Advanced Innovation, which seeks to transform the UAE into a global laboratory for experiments and ideas. From driving commercial partnerships and encouraging international participation, to supporting new sectors and investing in the next generation of youth, Expo 2020 Dubai is driving growth and supporting the city’s efforts towards economic diversification.
