Why This Black Woman Hates Black Hair Products

Similar to one of the poster, I also used to braid my hair for years until I realised that my hair line was slowly disappearing. Then I decided to cut my hair, stop dyeing and find a relaxer where the percentage of the straightening chemical is low. So far it’s fine except my daughter who is her twenties is into black hair products (Cantu, Mimosa, ASIAM,) especially the whole range of oil, including Argan Oil. She says I should be brave. I think it’s really cool that the younger generation are more into handling their hair in its natural state as opposed to chemically altering it.
