The Code Audit
In crypto, being audited is a good thing, so we’ve made sure to get a great team to do so. Our code audit has been completed by d3ploy, a leading blockchain security company that serves to verify the security and correctness of smart contracts and blockchain-based protocols.
We won’t be going into all the details in this post, as we just want to to give you all an overview of the audit process that d3ploy looked for and their findings.
- Assess codebase to ensure compliance with current best practice and industry standards.
-Test the smart contracts against command and uncommon attack vectors.
-Ensure contract logic meets specifications and intentions of Magpie Protocol.
-Cross reference contract structure and implementation against similar smart contracts by industry leaders.
and a
-Thorough line-by-line manual review of the entire codebase by industry experts.
We are happy to report that we scored a 97 out of 100 with ZERO critical, major, or medium issues.
There were a couple minor issues: Floating pragma & Missing Zero address validations, with the remaining being informational issues and gas optimization. The team has already acknowledged the issues and are at work to fix them.
All in all, we’re very happy with the results and wanted to share them with the Magpie flock. If you’d like a more detailed report, stay tuned as we will be posting the full audit at a later date!
