#1 How did the Renaissance impact the use of scientific principles and technological advancement?

In the Renaissance, people eager to study and produce a new technology to improve life base on the information from middle ages. The creator do a research and invent new technology. Hence, technological are develop very fast in this ages and many of them are a prototype of technology at present. Moreover, because this ages is the ages of researching, a lot of information became scientific principles by well-known originator such as Sir Isaac Newton who formulated the laws of motion and universal gravitation.

#2 What impact did the use of science and technology during the Industrial Revolution have on society?

The use of machines in many companies change people lifestyle. In the second wave, people use machine and new technology instead of doing everything by themselves. They find that technology makes people work more convenient and get more income than handmade. Therefore people abandon the farm and move in the city to work in the industry, cash money became the main things in the economy and the nuclear family become bigger in the city.

#3 What is Toffler’s Third Wave theory and where do you think Thailand is in his suggested theory of change?

Toffler’s assumption that change is the impact to generate new things and show the ways to transform. In my perspective ,Thailand is in the third wave. For example, In term of communication, the impact of social media and technology is important to citizen to receive the news and connect to global network. In the business side, It doesn’t matter how big of your companies because the networking and relationship between the seller and buyer are more important than another things. Thereby, Some of example that I mention are evidence that prove the fact that Thailand is in the third wave currently.
