Time to PLAY LIVE w/ Main Menu and Friends!
May is a magical time of the year for content creators. Hundreds, if not thousands of these talented bastards rush down the halls of their various communities screaming the words “IT’S TIME TO PLAY LIVE!” and while 5 years ago, many would question the sanity of that individual, today it is a phrase of endearment; of passion; of pure, unadulterated fundraising.
And this year… we’re going all out.
Main Menu is proud to announce our official involvement with #StJudePLAYLIVE as we aim to raise 10 MILLION DOLLARS for the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! (Lofty, we know — but we did say “we’re going all out”, right?)
Since our inception in 2014, #StJudePLAYLIVE has been a cornerstone event for our Main Menu family to gather together and join the other content creators of the world in doing something good — but, by now, you’re probably asking: “But… Don’t you usually have a kickass image or animation by now to represent the event you’re trying to promote?”
Well, yeah. And we do.
We just wanted to make sure you couldn’t see it without scrolling down ;)
You see, between last year and this year’s efforts, Main Menu picked up a rather unique individual that just-so-happened to run her own broadcasting team — so we thought, maybe for a change of pace, we turn our month of fundraising into a month of friendly competition (for a great cause) ♥
Main Menu and Team Sin Squad are throwing down to compete in the #StJudePLAYLIVE Charity Brawl!
The rules are simple: come June 1st, the team with the most money raised wins! What do they win? That’ll have to be a secret for a little while longer, but let’s be honest: this isn’t really about the competition — it’s about the massive amounts of money we’re going to raise for the kids of St. Jude ♥
… And we really wanted a kickass animation to use this year.
But, of course, with the sheer amount of talent and amazing broadcasters on Team Sin Squad, we’ll need your help, Main Menu community, if we are going to have any chance of winning (although taking a cookie-filled fireball to the face doesn’t sound half bad…)

Step 1: Make a Tiltify account — which is where all of the fundraising for #StJudePLAYLIVE takes place!
Step 2: CLICK THESE WORDS (or click this link, followed by “Support Campaign”: https://tiltify.com/+main-menu-and-friends/main-menu-and-friends) and create your campaign! If you do it through one of these methods, it will be setup to represent team Main Menu and Friends!
Step 3: FUNDRAISE A MILLION DOLLARS
(or, y’know, whatever you can! Every dollar helps! ♥)
In addition to this friendly competition, we also want to encourage cross-interactions between our broadcasting teams. While nothing is set in stone (yet… details to come!), we (Main Menu), are inviting any members of Team Sin Squad to play some games with us! Whether you want to throw down in some Mario Kart or sail the high seas together in Sea of Thieves, we want to play with you!
As much as this is a competition, we also want to encourage interactions between all of our communities in a positive way — and if that means we also raise 10 million dollars for charity… that’s just the icing on the cake.

At the end of the day, it’s about the kids — but this is just one of the many ways in which we hope to come back together as a family in 2018 (and beyond) ♥
